The Walks
There are eleven walks in the booklet, one of which is a village walk of about one hour’s duration (suitable for wheelchair users and pushchairs). With the exception of Walk 7 (another short walk), we would describe our walks as moderate, with a few hills of course, each taking an average of 2.5 hours. The booklet contains the favourite short walks that we enjoy as a Group; the accompanying maps are hand-drawn and intended as a guide only.
The booklet was published in March 2005 and updated in April 2009 and in the period to May 2013, the Walking Group have raised over £8000 for local good causes, including St. Peter’s Church and First Responders.
