Dear Event Organisers,
(Checkpoint Volunteers, Marshals on hill tops, and down Dale,and not forgetting Beef pie, and Cake makers all.)
Just another big thank you for such a wonderfully organised event yet again.
The Leaden Boot Challenge has clearly taken off,and reflects the hard work and effort all of you have put into its planning and very professional execution.
As a veteran runner the weather could have been cooler, but once I realised I could just walk the last six miles, and engage in conversations with a very diverse and friendly walking fraternity, my day once more was a very special one.
I look forward to 2013, and yet another visit to Alstonefield.

Dear All,
Thank you to all for such a fantastic event, yet again. Every person involved here should feel proud to be part of such a wonderful village. Thanks also to my fellow participants who also encouraged me along the way, whether you knew it or not, your company really helped. A special thanks to ‘my’ team of boys who adopted me as their mascot/pacemaker/satnav, good luck for your next challenge!
