About Us

Welcome to the Alstonefield website that has been set up by the Parish Council for residents and visitors to Alstonefield. This website not only provides information, but allows for discussion and comment. The site is maintained by members of the community and is regularly updated and reviewed. In setting up this site, we would like to thank the team at www.parwich.org for their help and advice.

Finding Your Way Around

The site is made up of pages that are listed in the grey shaded boxes on the right hand side. For example, under ‘Community’ you will find pages  about the Parish Council, St. Peter’s Church and the Village Hall (highlighted in blue). Click on ‘Parish Council’ and you will arrive at that page. Many pages have sub-pages which will be listed at the bottom of the page. Text highlighted in blue on any page will link to other pages, websites or documents if clicked. To return to the front page, just click on ‘Home’. In addition, across the top of the home page, you will see a row of ‘tabs’, which will quickly take you to popular areas like ‘What’s On’ and the ‘Forum’.

Our former website at alstonefield.com ceased to operate on 2nd July 2009.

The Front Page (or ‘Home’ page)

This is our ‘news’ page with latest events, comments and items of interest relating to the village. If you have any ‘news’ you would like to post on the front page, please contact us.
