Newspaper Club
Your daily newspapers are collected from the Farm Shop behind The George each Monday to Saturday (please, not before 9am) and by 10am to another central village location every Sunday.
We can obtain any national newspapers and magazines.
If you would like to join the club, email or phone Brian Ross (310009).

I am able to temporarily suspend newspapers delivered on Mondays to Saturdays, but NOT Sundays. The cancellation must be for a minimum period of one week and two days prior notice must be given.

At the last Newspaper Club Christmas Meal it was agreed that in future all “profit” made by the Club will go to the local First Responder group (WACFR).

From February 2010 the Newspaper Club is able to accept vouchers without penalty i.e. if you take a newspaper at least 6 days a week you are likely to find it considerably cheaper to “subscribe” direct with the publisher. The Club makes no charge for this service, however, if you are planning to go abroad for a holiday, ask Brian to cancel your papers while you are away. That way, the Club can make more money for WACFR.

From 2010 the Club has agreed not to charge the 10p weekly admin fee for Sunday Newspapers. All newspapers are now delivered at face-value.
